The OUTLAW BASEBALL CLUB is proud to announce that BRAC WARREN has been chosen by the UTAH BASEBALL ACADEMY to play for them in the 4 CORNER CLASSIC in Peoria, AZ. Brac tried out for the team in February in Mesquite, NV. The Utah Baseball Academy team will consist of some of the top 14 year olds in the Mountain West. The 4 Corner Classic will run from June 4th thru 6th. Brac is currently in the 8th grade at Washington Middle School. Congratulations BRAC!

The OUTLAW BASEBALL CLUB is proud to announce that Westin Davies and Jared Harden have been invited to play in the PIRATE CITY WORLD SERIES hosted by BASEBALL FACTORY and will be played in the spring training home of the Pittsburg Pirates in Bradenton FL. Westin and Jared received invitations for a UNDERARMOUR/BASEBALL FACTORY tryout in San Antonio, TX., after the tryout they where invited to play in the PIRATE CITY WORLD SERIES. This event will run the first two weeks in August. CONGRADULATIONS WESTIN & JARED.
Miles City Star 6/21/10
The Miles City Outlaws improved to 33-11 on the season with 3 wins in Casper, Wy over the weekend. The Outlaws traveled to Casper for what was to be a 4 day legion tournament but with weather and field problems the tournament became a round robin and ended on Saturday afternoon. The Outlaws opened with Thompson Valley High School out of Colorado on Thursday afternoon. Jordan Bryant proved to be too much for the Thompson Valley. Bryant struck out 13, walked 1 and allowed 1 hit as the Outlaws won 6-1. Caleb Frare led the offense with his 8th home run of the season and a pair of runs batted in. Westin Davies and Jared Harden each had RBI singles in the 4th inning as the Outlaws plated 3 runs and jumped out to the 6-1 lead.
The Outlaws next played Sturgis, S.D. in a Thursday evening game that Miles City’s Nelson Walker dominated on the mound going 5 no hit innings and striking out 10 as the Outlaws won 8-0 in a mercy rule shorted game. David Preller had 2 hits and 2 RBI and Jordan Bryant and Jared Harden each added 2 hits. Zach Allen had a pinch hit 2 RBI double in the 5th.
The Outlaws next played the Casper Grizz and won going away 15-2 in a mercy rule shortened game Friday morning. Caleb Frare picked up the win on the mound allowing 1 hit and no earned runs. Jared Harden drove in 3 runs and Nelson Walker, Westin Davies and David Preller each had 2 hits and 2 RBI to lead the way for the Outlaw offense.
The Outlaws final game of the weekend came Friday night against the host Casper Drillers. Jeff Vancleave got the start and pitched 5 strong innings allowing 1 earned run. The Outlaws committed 4 costly errors with 2 outs in 4 different innings that allowed 6 unearned runs to score and that put the outlaws on the wrong end of an 8-7 game. The Drillers scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to take an 8-7 lead and the game was called due to time limit. The offense was lead by Jordan Bryant’s 5th home run of the season a 2 run shot in the 3rd that gave the outlaws the lead 6-5. Gavin Ueland had 3 hits and Marty Etchemendy added 2 hits.
The Outlaws outscored there opponents 36-10 in four games and more impressively out hit their opponents 38-8. The Outlaws will be in Glasgow on Tuesday to play the Reds in a double header starting at 5:00. The Outlaws will then head to Omaha, Ne. for the SLUMPBUSTER TOURNAMENT. On the way the Outlaws will play the Rapid City Rebels on Thursday and Scottsbluff, Ne on Friday night. The Outlaws will arrive in Omaha Sunday morning and start tournament play Monday morning against the ELITE STORM from Rockford, MI.
The Outlaws will return home on the 5th of July to play Billings Select at 3:00 & 5:30 at Tedesco Field.
OUTLAWS HAVE BIG WEEK (what should have been put in the Miles City Star) week of June 7th
The Outlaw Baseball Club (26-8)had a very busy and successful first week of summer. The Outlaws returned from winning 3 of 4 over Memorial Day weekend at a round robin tourney in Spearfish. The week began on Tuesday with a double header in Glendive vs the Blue Devils. The Outlaws sweep the double header by winning 3-1 behind Nelson Walker’s 5 hitter complete game 1. Gavin Ueland, Brac Warren each drove in runs and Jeff Vancleave had 2 hits. The Outlaws won 10-5 in game 2 behind Westin Davies’ 5 strong innings. The offense was lead by Caleb Frare, Jordan Bryant and Marty Etchemendy who all had 2 hits.
The Outlaws returned home for a doubleheader Wednesday against the Glasgow Reds. The Outlaws jumped all over Glasgow in game 1 by pounding out a 15-1 win in 5 innings. Jordan Bryant got the win on the mound and Etchemendy lead the offense 3 hits and 4 rbis. The Outlaws dropped game two 9-5. Davies, Frare, and Vancleave all had rbis in the losing effort.
The Outlaws next travelled to play the Gillette Rustlers on Thursday night. The Outlaws sweep both ends of the twin bill, winning game 1 5-4 on Jordan Bryant’s base clearing 3 rbi triple in the top of the 7th. Etchemendy worked 6 innings of 2 hit ball to pick up the win. Game 2 was another close affair that the Outlaws won 4-2. David Preller picked up the win on the mound for the Outlaws. Bryant, Vancleave, and Ueland all had 2 hits to supply the run support.
The Outlaws returned home Saturday to play the Lewistown Redbirds and what a huge day it was for the offense. In a game 1 win, with a score of 20-4 the Outlaws hit 5 home runs. Caleb Frare blasted 3 home runs with 8 rbis, Westin Davies had a grand slam, and Nelson Walker had a 2 run shot. Zach Allen also drove in 3 runs to help the cause. John Preller picked up the win on the mound for the Outlaws. Game 2 was very similar to the first contest as the Outlaws rolled 16-1. Colton Pederson got the win on mound giving up only 2 hits and the lone earned run. The Outlaws pounded out 17 hits and 2 more home runs. Frare hit his 4th home run on the day and Walker hit his 2nd. Vancleave, Davies, Bryant Ueland, and etchemendy each had 3 hits.
The Outlaws next travelled to Billings on Sunday to play the Blue Jays at Pirtz field. The Outlaws dropped both games to the Bluejays 7-6 and 8-7. In game one, the Outlaws lead going into the bottom of the 7th 6-4 but 2 errors cost the Outlaws the game. Davies and Frare each had 2 hits to lead the offense. Walker took the tough loss on the mound as he worked 6 1/3 innings of 4 hit ball and allowed only 2 earned runs. The Outlaws fell behind early in the second game 6-2 but came back to take a 7-6 lead after the 5th but couldn’t hold the on to the slim lead. Frare’s 2 hits along with Ethcemendy’s 2 hits and Bryant’s 2 rbi triple lead the offense. The Outlaws finished the week 7-3 and outscored there opponents 90-42.
The Outlaws (26-8) will be playing in Spearfish on Tuesday and also in the Aarons “A” tournament in Billings over the weekend. The Outlaws open up with the Bozeman Spikes and Billings Cardinals on Thursday and Powell on Friday.

Jordan was an important part of the successful 2010 Outlaw season. Jordan will be continuting his college academics and tying out for the starting shortstop position. We congratulate Jordan on this honor that he received through his outstanding work ethic and leadership skill.

Frare, VanCleave, and Etchemendy all play for the 2012 Montana/Wyoming Team. Ueland played for the 2013 At-Large Northwest Team and Warren placed for the 2014 At-Large Northwest Team. BASEBALL NORTHWEST personally invited these young men to play in this elite championship showcase.

The OUTLAW BASEBALL CLUB is proud to announce that Gavin Ueland and Brac Warren have been selected to play BIG SKY BASEBALL this fall. These players went to an open tryout held in Three Forks, MT on August 1, and were later informed the next week they had made the Sophomore Team. These young men will be playing in Showcase tournaments this fall in Salt Lake City, UT, Pasco, WA, Twin Falls, ID, Bozeman, MT, and finishing up with the Arizona Fall Classic in Peoria.

The OUTLAW BASEBALL CLUB is proud to announce that Brac Warren has been selected to play on the 15U team for Trosky Baseball. This team will compete in the prospect games in Northern California for a chance to go on the National Team Identification Series for USA baseball in Cary, North Carolina. Brac recently went to an open tryout in Union City, California on June 15th, and was informed the next week that he had made the team. The first tournament for Brac is in San Jose, CA on August 6 and 7, 2011.
PRE-SEASON ALL-AMERICANS, NOV 2011
Two Outlaw players have been honored as PRE-SEASON ALL-AMERICAN’S by Under Armour and Baseball Factory.
Gavin Ueland is a junior at CCDHS and Caleb Frare is a senior at CCDHS and along with this honor these two young men are invited to play in the Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament in Tucson Arizona from January 13-15,2012.
